The Target military discount offers veterans, active-duty military, National Guard, Reservists, military spouses, and military family members 10% off on two transactions twice per year.
You will need a Target Circle account and to confirm your military verification with a DD-214, Veteran ID card, military dependent's ID, or Common Access Card (CAC).
The discount can be used online at Target.com or in-store at any Target store in the US. Usually the Target 10% off military discount is offered annually on the Fourth of July and Veterans Day.

How to Get Target Military Appreciation Discount
The easiest way to get the Target Military Appreciation Discount is to go to target.com/circle/military. Once you're there you can sign in or create a Target Circle account.
If you don't see the option to add your military service, go to the Account button that looks like a little person in the upper right hand corner.
Click “Account” and then “Settings.” Under Settings you should see an option for “I'm a service member or dependent – Get verified”
Click Get Verified and then select Service member or Dependent.
You will then need to select your military status, either Veteran, Active Duty, or Reservist. You will also need to select branch of service, discharge date, service member's first and last name, and date of birth.
Click verify and you should be all set! Note that if you have a spouse you can both register for the discount and then you will be eligible for 4 total transactions with 10% off. This can be a big savings!
Target Military Discount Eligibility
You are eligible for the military discount at Target if you are any of the following:
- An active-duty servicemember in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, NOAA, or Public Health Service Commissioned Corps
- A Reserve member of the Air Force Reserve, Army Reserve, Coast Guard Reserve, Marine Corps Reserve, or Navy Reserve
- A Guardsmen in the Air National Guard or Army National Guard
- A veteran of any of the above services listed
- A military spouse of dependent of an active-duty, Guard, Reserve, or veteran servicemember
You can confirm your eligibility in the Target app or at Target.com before or after the discount window is open so that you are prepared the next time the military discount is offered.
Target Veterans Day Military Discount
The Veterans Day Target military discount is usually offered annually from Halloween on 31 October to 13 November, a few days after Veterans Day on 11 November.
The Target Veterans Day discount gives you 10% off two purchases. You must verify your military status before making the purchases.
This can be a great way to save money on groceries, house supplies, or electronics.
Target 4th of July Military Discount
The 4th of July Target military discount is usually offered every year from June 26 to July 4th. It is the same discount as the Veterans Day discount: 10% off two transactions.
