The Microsoft military discount offers 10% off to US servicemembers, veterans, and their families everyday! This fantastic deal can be applied to Surface Pro, Windows 10 PCs, and many other Microsoft products.

This discount is offered in addition to the Microsoft Office 2019 military discount.

How to get the Microsoft Military Discount

Microsoft offers their discount on all of their products online and in Microsoft stores except for:

  • Digital games, digital apps, in-app content and subscriptions, movies, TV shows, and associated content
  • Gift cards and services/subscriptions (e.g., Skype, Xbox Live)
  • Products that have been personalized or customized
  • Xbox consoles, games, and accessories
  • Office software & apps (but you can get the Microsoft Military Office 2016 Home Use Program for only $9.95)

To qualify for the discount, simply follow this link and begin shopping on the Microsoft Store website.

When you find a product you like, under the “Add to cart” link it should say Special pricing for eligible students, parents, teachers, and military. Check now” Click this “Check Now” link and the site should ask you to login into your Microsoft account. Create one if you don't have one, you can use any email you want, you don't need to sign up for a Microsoft email address.

After signing in, confirm that you are a US military servicemember. You should be presented with a screen stating: “Congratulations! You’re eligible for special student or military pricing.”

At that point you can add the product to your cart and check out with a 10% discount.

This discount is an easy way to save money on Microsoft products. A great feature of the discount is that it's available to not only active duty servicemembers but also veterans, retirees, and family members of US military members.

You also do not need any codes or special coupons to use the discount. Just confirm that you are in fact eligible for the discount and sign in with your Microsoft account. It cannot be easier.

Please let me know if you have any issues with the discount in the comments below. Also: let us know what you bought with your discount!
