Eligibility for Business Credit Cards

Many people are surprised to learn they are eligible for business credit cards. The most common and simplest business structure in America is the “sole proprietorship.” Essentially, you are the business!

You can use your Social Security Number when you apply for business credit cards and you do not need a Employer Identification Number or EIN.

You do not need to be a limited liability corporation or LLC when you apply for a business credit card. However, you may increase your chances of getting approved for a business credit card if you have an LLC.

Chase business credit cards do not count against your Chase 5/24 status. However, you need to be under 5/24 in order to qualify for Chase business credit cards.
