Appointment Scanner is the easiest way to secure a Global Entry interview appointment.
Finding an available Global Entry interview appointment for first time applicants or renewal applications can be frustrating. There never seems to be availability either in person or remote!
I searched once a week for 6 months to find an interview appointment on the Global Entry Trusted Traveler Program website. I was extremely frustrated that I never saw a single available appointment.
Within 16 hours of signing up for Appointment Scanner, I completed my interview remotely. This was the best $29 I ever spent and solved my problem immediately.
You can solve your Global Entry interview problems with Appointment Scanner. The app is a simple, one-time fee website that allows you to select 3 enrollment centers and receive email and text message alerts when an appointment becomes available.
Appointment Scanner is NOT a subscription service. You only pay $29 once to activate the service. The Scanner app comes with a 100% money-back guarantee. If you're not completely satisfied, email or chat customer service and you will receive 100% of your money back.

How Global Entry Appointment Scanner Works
Appointment Scanner uses a simple 3 step process to find you available interview times:

- Sign up for Appointment Scanner here. Choose from over 100 enrollment centers, select text and/or email notification, and a date limit when you need the appointment by.
- Appointment Scanner automatically scans for new appointments to open up 24/7. I received my first notification within 3 hours of signing up for the service and secured a Global Entry interview for renewal the next day!
Frustrating Booking a Global Entry Interview Appointment
I renewed my Global Entry pass after being a member for 5 years. I was conditionally approved but unfortunately had to go for a renewal interview appointment. I tried to do interview on arrival at George Bush Houston Intercontinental Airport but didn't have enough time to make my connecting flight.
I had spent the last 6 months trying to find a Global Entry remote interview appointment but zero luck. Every time I logged on there were not remote appointments available for the next year! The only in person bookings available were in Anchorage, Alaska. Great for Alaskans, not so great for me.
Extremely frustrated with the process, I signed up for Appointment Scanner. I couldn't believe how quickly this app solved my problem and removed this frustration from my life. I would gladly have paid two or three times the price.
Within 3 hours of signing up, the app had found me a remote interview at Los Angeles LAX airport at 4am the next morning. I was on a mountain time in Utah so it was 5am my time. I woke up early, logged on, and completed the interview in under 15 minutes. I couldn't believe how quickly the $29 I spent paid off. Finally this burden was off my back!
Another factor in my frustration was I had mistakenly entered the wrong birthyear when I renewed my Global Entry card. Once you submit the app, there's no changing it. This birthday error prevented me from accessing TSA PreCheck or Global Entry services because my birthday on my ID and airline ticket would never match my Known Traveler Number. This was very frustrating.
However, I was able to call the TTP help line to fix my birthday. Within 20 minutes I spoke to a real human who was able to look at my passport and correct the error. My Known Travel Number (KTN) started working immediately on my next flight.

Appointment Scanner Bottom Line
If you are trying to book a Global Entry interview appointment, whether for initial application or renewal, I highly recommend using Appointment Scanner to find an available time slot on the TTP website.
The Appointment Scanner app solved my 6 months of frustration trying to book an appointment myself in less than 16 hours. I can't recommend the service enough. How much is your time worth? Spend the small amount of money to solve your problem.

If you were thinking about using TTP Alerts instead, which is only $12, don’t do it. TTP Alerts is horrible. You can’t specify any filters so it sends you alerts about appointments available that you see when you sign up on the TTP website–not helpful. While I did finally get an earlier appt. by sifting through the dozens of emails I was getting daily, it was too painful to recommend. In addition, I started getting spam emails from a third party. Either they sold my email or they have bad security. It was not a coincidence–this breach came from them. So, if you don’t mind the lousy implementation and the spam you’ll start getting, then $12 will get you an earlier appointment, but I would suggest using Appointment Scanner.
Good tip, thank you. I did not try TTP ALerts so I have no first hand experience.
